When you have spent decades working rigorously, saving and building wealth step by step, you end up considering these resources as an obvious protection. Yet when health challenges arise, our scale of values is profoundly transformed.
The diagnosis of my cancer was a painful ordeal but also a salutary wake-up call. Having no children or direct heirs, an essential question then arose: what is the point of leaving these funds inert in bank accounts or waiting for them to be dispersed soullessly after my disappearance?
The decision imposed itself on my mind with total clarity: to transmit and bequeath this wealth during my lifetime, directly to a private individual who sincerely needs it to live with dignity, overcome a financial hardship or achieve a deserving life project.
This gesture is not a calculation: it is a heartfelt, human and selfless approach. Knowing that the fruit of my work will brighten the future of a sincere person is for me the most beautiful reward.
